KEN MAYNARD(1895 - 1973) A trick rider with the Buffalo Bill and the Ringling Brothers Wild West shows and later a rodeo champion, he entered films in 1923. Before long Maynard developed into a leading cowboy star, widely admired for his riding stunts on his equally famous horse, Tarzan. Fine group of two S.P.'s, the first 5" x 7" b/w, a promotional still with his horse, boldly inscribed and signed at top, dated 1935 in another hand at bottom. With a second 7 1/2" x 9 1/2" b/w, a paperstock image of Maynard atop his horse, signed in pencil in person for the same recipient. Mounted. Two pieces.
