Description:

JOHN F. KENNEDY
(1917-1963) Thirty-fifth President of the United States. Kennedy faced-down the Khrushchev during the Cuban Missile Crisis, re-invigorated NASA, and signed the Nuclear Test Ban Treaty. Assassinated November 1963 by Lee Harvey Oswald. A superb S.P. "John Kennedy as President, 10" x 8" color, shows Kennedy standing in the Oval Office with members of his Secret Service detail who sign above their respective and include: Secret Service Chief JAMES J. ROWLEY, Assistant Special Agent in Charge FLOYD M. BORING, Special Agent In Charge GERALD A. BEHN, Special Officer JOHN J. 'MUGSY' O'LEARY, and Assistant Special Agent in Charge JOHN CAMPION. Photo stamped on verso "2 OCT 1962" and signed by Assistant Secretary of the Treasury BOB WALLACE. Taken by R. L. Knudsen from the Office of the naval aide to the President. Of those pictured, it appears that only O'Leary was present in Dallas on November 22, 1963 and was assigned to Love Field. A couple of creases that do not affect the signatures, light marginal wear, else very good condition.
