Fargo" as President of American Express, 1p. tall 4to., New York, May 7, 1895, a document authorizing "...the construction, maintenance, and operation, by the Metropolitan Street Railway Company, of a double track street surface railroad through...Lexington Avenue from 42nd St. to the Harlem River...". This document, of course, refers to the creation of the railroad, the pre-cursor of New York City's subway system. Folds, otherwise boldly signed and very good.
