Description:

JACK RUBY'S POCKET ADDRESS BOOK
JACK RUBY (1911 - 1967) Dallas nightclub owner who shot and killed Lee Harvey Oswald following Oswald's assassination of President John F. Kennedy on November 22, 1963. Ruby's address book, about 40 pp., 16mo., printed in 1956: Eaton Paper Corporation, containing an alphabetical list of Ruby's professional and personal contacts. Spiral bound, wrapped in blue leather binding. A unique record of Ruby's personal life, quite possibly unknown to government investigators. The address book includes many names and telephone numbers, ranging from Ruby's barber and insurance agent to Sammy Davis Jr., [listed at "Gorham Hotel, N.Y. N.Y."], and other interesting entries: "Betty" in "Hot Springs," Penny Brackee, "Barbara", "Dolores", "Gladys-- singer", Goldie Harris, Chubby Jackson, "Bobbye Huges", Eileen Kaminsky, "Stormy Meadows", Mickey Dallas, Earl Ruby, Sam Ruby, Hilda Wilks and Trella Young of the Democratic Headquarters in Nashville, and more. Wear at binding, pages age toned but well preserved by the leather cover, overall very good and worthy of further research.
