IVA TOGURI
(1916-2006) "Tokyo Rose" Japanese-American radio propagandist, stranded in Japan at the outbreak of World War II, enlisted by the Japanese and widely heard by American troops whom she urged to surrender so they could return home to their wives, lovers and families. Sentenced to ten years for treason, pardoned by Ford in 1977. Brief A.L.S. on the interior of a Christmas card in the shape of a fan, [Chicago, Ill., Dec. 14, 1991], in full: "Mr. & Mrs. Sharich Touching base once again. Have a great season of food & festivities Regards Iva". Fine condition, with original envelope.

Shipment is sent USPS priority, USPS International Express (for most overseas) or UPS Ground at the auctioneer's option, signature required, unless other arrangements are made.
