HIDEKI TOJO
(1884 - 1948) Japanese political and military leader, as Premier Tojo ordered the attack on Pearl Harbor in 1941, remained militaristic for the entire war, and was finally executed following the Tokyo War Crimes trials. Very rare S.P. 4 1/2" x 3" b/w, a snapshot showing a building with a door marked 13A, the building where Tojo would ultimately be hanged. Boldly signed on verso in both Japanese and English. Fine condition, along with a similar snapshot of Tojo surrounded by soldiers, docketed on verso: "Photo of Tojo going to jail!". Two pieces.

Shipping

Shipment is sent USPS priority, USPS International Express (for most overseas) or UPS Ground at the auctioneer's option, signature required, unless other arrangements are made. Handling, shipping and insurance charges will be added to the invoice in one entry. Buyers should be aware that large, framed, fragile or odd shaped items can incur substantial shipping and packing charges. NOTE: large, heavy or bulky items are not shipped by the auctioneer.
