Nice content A.L.S. "H. Clinton", 2pp. 8vo., [n.p.], Apr. 15, 1792, to the Duke of Gloucester, in part: "...I am infinitely obliged by your Royal Highness's gracious condescention in sending the inclosed...I wish others felt as much for the poor soldier as HRH does, such attention we expected & repaid in time of need. I don't understand why there...marches. I almost think the next Head quarters will be Carteau [?]...I don't understand there is any movement offensive on the part of the French...".
