HELMUT LENT
(1918 - 1944) German Luftwaffe pilot of World War II, awarded the Knights Cross with Oak Leaves, Swords and Diamonds. He exclusively flew twin-engine aircraft, predominantly the Messerschmitt Bf 110. Officially credited with 110 victories in 507 flights. The total includes 103 victories at night, with 59 four-engine bombers and one Mosquito destroyed. Killed in a botched landing approach. Fine S.P. 4" x 6" b/w, an original Hoffmann real-photo postcard showing him in uniform. Boldly signed at bottom, contrast just a tad dark, else fine.

Shipment is sent USPS priority, USPS International Express (for most overseas) or UPS Ground at the auctioneer's option, signature required, unless other arrangements are made. Handling, shipping and insurance charges will be added to the invoice in one entry. Buyer's should be aware that large, framed, fragile or odd shaped items can incur substantial shipping and packing charges. Customer's who supply their own courier account number will still be charged a handling fee.
