757. JOHN HART (1711 - 1779) Signer of the Declaration of Independence, member of the Continental Congress. Partly-printed D.S., a printed six shilling bank note 4" x 2 1/4" signed by Hart on the face of the note. The note was printed by I. Collins in Burlington, New Jersey, 1776 and bears the seal of George III on the face, with a tobacco leaf and the legend "To counterfeit is Death" on the verso. Verso bears a couple of scuffs, recto is very good with a bold signature. $250-350
