Description:

Lenin's closest collaborators, head of the Comintern and with Stalin and Kamenev led the country following Lenin's death. Stalin later turned on him, and arranged for his execution, along with those of Kamenev and 13 other old Bolsheviks. Exceedingly rare A.D.S. "G. Zinoviev", 1p. 4to., [n.p., n.d.], in pencil on lightly lined graph paper, in Russian, a hurried letter to fellow Party Leader Paul Axelrod: "...Tragically killed is our close friend Ivan Rachya[?]. He died for the world's future...". Lightly toned with somewhat weak folds, overall very good.
