Description:

GRAND FUNK RAILROAD American band that with Todd Rundgren-produced "We're an American Band" and Carole King's "Loco-motion". They disbanded in 1976 after recording with Frank Zappa and a total of ten platinum albums, but have reunited several times since. A unique oversized promotional item, a full color printed reproduction of the cover of their first album, "On Time" on Capitol Records, showing the three members in their funky hippie gear holding props. Measuring approximately 23" square and mounted to heavy board, the placard is inscribed and signed by all three members including DONNIE BREWER: "Jerry, thanks for the great kick-off on the group, Truly, Donnie Brewer", MARK FARNER: "Jerry To the one who gave birth, Thanks Mother, Mark Farner", and MEL SCHECHTER "Get Funked Jerry! Mel Schechter" and by TERRY KNIGHT: "Jerry-Deep down you know you were born a hippy! Terry Knight". Slight nicks and one edge rough, otherwise very good.
