Roosevelt acknowledges being informed of a planned Constitution Day parade, and offers his thoughts on the great document. In part: ... The Constitution of the United States, framed nearly a century and a half ago by as high intelligence as our nation has ever produced, has been during all these years and still is our Magna Carta .
