FRANKLIN D. ROOSEVELT
(1882 - 1945) Thirty-second President of the United States who instituted the "New Deal" programs and who led the United States through most of World War II. Superb I.S.P. 11" x 10" (sight), a classic sepia image of Roosevelt at his desk with pen in hand by Francis & Ewing, boldly inscribed at bottom blank margin to chairman of the Republican National Committee: "For Will H. Hays from his old friend Franklin D. Roosevelt". Hays (1879-1954) also served as Postmaster General under Warren G, Harding and as President of the Motion Picture Association of America. Handsomely set into a dark wood frame, very fine.

Shipment is sent USPS priority, USPS International Express (for most overseas) or UPS Ground at the auctioneer's option, signature required, unless other arrangements are made. Customer's who supply their own courier account number will still be charged a handling fee.
