Winfield Scott, and in ink at conclusion by A.A.A.G. H. L. SCOTT. Bottom half toned and crudely repaired with tape, nevertheless a rare war-date order. Among those relieved are future Civil War generals Robert Anderson, William W. Loring, and Philip Kearny.
