DWIGHT D. EISENHOWER EPHEMERA
(1890 - 1969) Thirty-fourth President of the United States, Supreme Commander of Allied forces in Europe during World War II and largely responsible for the successful invasion on D-Day. A group of 12 pieces during the Eisenhower administration from the archive of Col. Ernest "Tex" Lee, Eisenhower's Executive Officer and Aide-de-Camp. Includes: the original invitation to Eisenhower's Inauguration, a "Dinner with the President" menu from 1953, an unsigned Presidential Christmas card, a 1956 telegram from Eisenhower to Lee, a T.L.S. by MAMIE DOUD EISENHOWER and so on. Overall very good condition, consigned directly from the Lee family.

Shipment is sent USPS priority, USPS International Express (for most overseas) or UPS Ground at the auctioneer's option, signature required, unless other arrangements are made. Handling, shipping and insurance charges will be added to the invoice in one entry. Buyers should be aware that large, framed, fragile or odd shaped items can incur substantial shipping and packing charges. NOTE: large, heavy or bulky items are not shipped by the auctioneer.
