Description:

Brigham Young 1801-1877 Leader of the Mormon church who succeeded Joseph Smith as head of the church and led the mass migration to Salt Lake Valley. Young was also the first governor of Utah Territory. Signature " Brigham Young" removed from a document pinned to a letter Salt Lake, March 5, 1902: "...I send you here with the autograph of my grandfather which you may absolutely rely upon as genuine... Richard W. Young" Very nicely matted with a photograph of Young and framed in wood. Quite handsome.
