Declaration of Independence. Good association A.L.S. "Dr. Rush" in the text with integral holograph address panel, 1p. sm. 8vo., [n.p.], Aug. 17, 1794 to John Nicholson, partner of Robert Morris in the North American Land Company boondoggle. In full: "Dr. Rush wishes to know whether the conveyance of the tract of land on the Susquehanna should be made to Mr. Nicholson only, or to Messrs. [Robert] Morris & Nicholson. An answer by the bearer is requested. Aug't 17, 1794". In 1794 Nicholson was busy promoting the Pennsylvania Population Company. Docketed by Nicholson on verso. Light toning, slightly trimmed at bottom, very good.
