65. BATTLE OF LAKE GEORGE A good nineteenth century print (20" x 12") copied from the original 1756 engraving depicting the British victory over the French and Indians at Lake George on September 8, 1755. The birds-eye view has been divided into two parts, one showing the "First Engagement" and the other, the "Second Engagement". Credit at bottom notes the piece was the work of Albany lithographer Richard H. Pease, 1852. Lightly toned at chipped at top margin, some creasing, else very good.$250-350
