RANDOLPH (1753 - 1813) Aideto George Washington, leader of the Virginia delegation to the Constitutional Convention, Washington's Attorney General and later served as Secretary of State. D.S. as Governor of Virginia on vellum 1p. folio, Richmond, April, 23, 1788 granting one thousand acres to John Swan "...in the County of Harrison...". With large signature at bottom.
