[ Autographs ] SLAVE IDENTIFICATION NECK SHACKLE An exceedingly rare,fine slave identification neck shackle, 16.5in long with double-ring links, with a key lock at one end and a matching perforated plate at the end in which the lock's pin is secured. At the center of the chainis a 2 1/4" x 3/4" metal plate with a brass inlay, with the slave owner's name "P. Helsingius" etched thereon. Very light oxidation, overall very good. This is the first such neck shackle we have encountered, and we are advised that Swann sold a very similar item for in excess of
