War date A.L.S. 1p. 4to., West Point, N.Y., Dec. 28, 1861 asking a tailor to send his altered clothing to West Point. In April of 1861, Garrard had been captured in San Antonio, Texas, and was placed on parole until August of 1862,and during this period he taught cavalry tactics at West Point. Fine.E75-100
