JOSEPH REED (1741 -1785) Statesman and Revolutionary War General, he briefly served as Aide-de-camp to Washington, and was President of the Supreme Executive Council opf Pennsylvania from 1778 to 1781. War date signature as President of theSupreme Executive Council of Pennsylvania, evidently removed from a letter : "I am, sir, Your obed. Hbl. Svt., Jos. Reed, President". Very good.
