Roentgen also studied specific heats of gases, elasticity, capillary action, and piezoelectricity. Rare A.L.S. with initial "R", 1p. 4.5in x 3in, n.p.,n.d., likely 192 11in pencil on the verso of a calendar page. In German he writes: "Dear Madam, Tomorrow Thursday, I will go to Wurzburg. Can I talk to you there? If you have business at the University, I will be there from 11:00 to 12:30 today. R.' Rough left margin with light toning, otherwise very good.
