[ Autograph ] John Quincy Adams Early A.L.S. "John Q. Adams' as Minister to Prussia, lp. 4to., Berlin, Nov. 17, 1798 to Mr. Pitcairn, American Consul in Hamburg. Adams writes a financial-content letter making a remittance to his correspondent, asking that he in turn forward the remittance and send a bill by return. Adams also refers to a letter he has received from a Mr. King relating to a purchase King had made in Berlin, and Adams is still uncertain whether these goods can be obtained. Ex-Forbes collection.
