[ Autograph ] Abraham Lincoln A.N.S. on a 2in x 3.5in slip pardoning a repentant rebel just three weeks before Appomattox and almost exactly a month before his assassination. Lincoln writes, in full: "Let this man take the oath of Dec. 8, 1863 & be discharged. A. Lincoln March 16, 1865" some soiling, with just the slightest brush tothe last two letters of Lincoin's signature and backed to a thin pieceof paper, otherwise very good.
