Lot of ten T.L.S.s, one typed carbon copy, etc., by various Nazi officials and military organizations operating in Austria before and after the Anschluss , 14pp., various sizes, Vienna, Munich, Berlin, Reichenberg, 1936-43, to various correspondents, all in German. The correspondence deals with various aspects of Nazi rule, includes: T.L.S. by ADOLF WAGNER, Treasurer of the Reich leadership in Munich to Adolf Stenitschka in Gau Niederdonau regarding compensation for SA members in Austria; a letter from the local NSDAP leader in Frankenmarkt to the local NSDAP leader in Vocklabruck providing biographical information on three NSDAP Golden Party Badge holders; a letter from the Ministry of the Interior, Berlin, to the Reich Governor in Vienna suggesting that two foreign journalists who had entered and won at a lottery event, should not be allowed to receive the prize; a letter from the Reich Commissioner for the Sudetenland (Finance Dept.) to Dr. Maierhofer, Finance Department of the NSDAP, Vienna, concerning correspondence from the Hitler Youth and the NSDAP; a letter from the Sudetendeutsche Party in Reichenberg to Dr. Maierhofer, Finance Department of the NSDAP, Vienna; a letter from the department of the President of the Reich Postal Service, Vienna, to Josef Burckel, Gauleiter of Vienna, regarding postal regulations in Vienna; the lower portion of a letter from the Reich Commissioner for the Saarland, bearing the initials of the Regional President; an initialed carbon copy of a letter from NSDAP Mediation Office to the Chief Magistrate in Vienna regarding NSKK member Othmar Chraska; a signed printed document from the Police President, Graz, posting Dr. Mothwurf to a new air raid unit; a printed document, completed in black ink, being a questionnaire relating to Franz Richter, Deputy Mayor of Vienna. Most of the letters have file holes at left edge, a few with pencil annotations, generally very good.
