Description:

ANTONIO TAMBURINI
(1800 - 1876) Italian baritone, one of the finest of his age, who often worked with the tenor Giovanni Battista Rubini and soprano Giulia Grisi. Best remembered for his association with Bellini - he was one of the "Puritani Quartet". Manuscript L.S. 1p. 8vo., Paris, Sep. 23, 1858 in French and apparently to his banker. Untranslated, but referring to financial matters and asking that he be obliged on a certain request. Very good, with lithographed portrait.
