Rare A.L.S. 2pp. 4to., [Paris], Nov. 3, [n.y.], to Archille Comte, in part: "...When I left you yesterday, I went to see Mr. Nigard who told me that the Minister had enquired as to whether the response of the University Council relative to my affair had arrived. I pointed out to him that this response was recorded in the minutes...and that it met with my desires. He promised to introduce me immediately to the Minister...I am taking the liberty once again calling upon your kindness...". Archille Comte, with Milne Edwards, wrote a textbook entitled First-Books of Natural History. Very good.

Shipment is sent USPS priority, USPS International Express (for most overseas) or UPS Ground at the auctioneer's option, signature required, unless other arrangements are made.
