The map, originally part of The Gentleman's Magazine, shows the various points of interest during the 1776 British campaign against New York City noting the British camp on Staten Island, the landing place in New Utrecht, the rebel defeat at Brooklyn and the disposition of the opposing armies prior to White Plains. Light vertical folds with some ink transfer, a few marginal nicks, otherwise very good.$200-300
