Description:

ALBERT KESSELRING
(1885 - 1960) Field Marshal in the Luftwaffe and at Nuremburg was tried for war crimes. Death sentence commuted due to ill health. Typed, likely war-date T.L.S. 1p. legal folio, Berlin, [n.d.], to another grand marshal on his official Luftwaffe letterhead. Not translated, but mentioned his air fleet and the training of the German Navy. Edges compromised by significant offsetting, but neatly affixed to another sheet for preservation. Boldly signed, good.
