ALBERT KESSELRING
(1885 - 1960) Field Marshal in the Luftwaffe and at Nuremburg was tried for war crimes. Death sentence commuted due to ill health. Typed D.S. 1p. 8vo., [n.p.], Aug. 11, 1945, signed by Kesselring as a prisoner of war, including statements that he has read the house rules and will not attempt escape. Boldly signed: "Albert Kesselring Generalfeldmarschall" at bottom. Sold with two vintage postcards showing, one showing Kesselring. One small tear at bottom margin lightly affects signature, two small tears to right margin, and a chip at lower right corner. A bit fragile, estimated accordingly.

Shipment is sent USPS priority, USPS International Express (for most overseas) or UPS Ground at the auctioneer's option, signature required, unless other arrangements are made.
