Description:

AL HIRSCHFELD
(1903-2003) American artist known for his caricatures of theater and entertainment personalities. Fine original drawing signed "Hirschfeld", a self portrait on the first free endpaper of his book of drawings entitled The Entertainers, (London: Elm Tree Books, 1977), accomplished in dark blue ink showing Hirschfeld pointing to the names of the persons to which the piece is inscribed, signed: "For Paul & Millicent because they're Paul and Millicent Hirschfeld 78". Slight toning to edges, lacking dustjacket, otherwise in good condition.

Shipping

Shipment is sent USPS priority, USPS International Express (for most overseas) or UPS Ground at the auctioneer's option, signature required, unless other arrangements are made. Handling, shipping and insurance charges will be added to the invoice in one entry. Buyer's should be aware that large, framed, fragile or odd shaped items can incur substantial shipping and packing charges. Customer's who supply their own courier account number will still be charged a handling fee.
