D. S. 1p. folio, Fuhrer Headquarters, Apr. 30, 1943, an appointment of General Schneckenburger as Commander of the 17th Army Corps. Also signed at bottom by Rudolf Schmundt 1896-1944 General and Chief Adjutant of the armed forces and a close friend of Hitler, mortally wounded in the July 20, 1944 bomb attempt on Hitler's life.
