(A Lamp 'rom Hitler's Office Adolf Hitler 1889-1945 Fuhrer of Germany and Nazi Party leader, Hitler's blood rise to power, his military seizure of most of Europe and North Africa and his genocidal racial policies culminated in suicide in his Berlin bunker as Russian troops approached. A brass sconce electric light fixture removed from Adolf Hitler's office in the Reichs Chancellery! In June, 1945 an American officer and aide at the Potsdam Conference near Berlin was allowed access by the Russians to the Chancellery, and in Hitler's office He removed this light fixture from the wall. The fixture is made of brass with a curved neck and fluted rim, with dimensions of about 8in wide by 5.25in tall. With a copy of the soldier's letter of provenance and original letter of provenance by Charles Hamilton.
