A CONNECTICUT SOLDIER COLLECTS HIS PAY A set of three manuscript D.S.'s concerning the collection of pay by Cyperian Merrell of New Hartford, who served in the Connecticut Line from May 1777 to May 4, 1780. Includes documents dated August, 18, 19, & 21, 1780, including a certificate from the selectmen of New Hartford verifying Merrell's claim, a request to the Pay Table Committee for Merrell's pay from the justice of the peace, as well as a receipt for the request from the Pay Table Committee. Light toning, usual folds, otherwise very good. $75-100
