1946 UNITED NATIONS SECURITY COUNCIL Rare assemblage of signatures of at least five members of the first Security Council of the United Nations, Apr. 7, 1946, signed on the verso of a map of New York City where the group had taken a cruise together, includes: EDWARD R. STETTINIUS (U.S.A.), WILLIAM R. HODGSON (Australia), ANDREI GROMYKO (U.S.S.R.), ALEXANDER CADOGAN (U.K.), E. N. VAN KLEFFENS (Netherlands), with TRYGVE LIE, first Secretary General of the U.N., along with the signatures of seven others among whom may well be a few, if not all, the remaining members of that historic council. Rare!
