Scarce copy of the 'Handbuch der Ausschreibungen', or 'tender's manual', used by officials in the 1936 Berlin Olympics, published by the Olympics Committee in Berlin. The handbook, 332pp. 8vo., provides the regulations for twenty different Olympic events, including athletics, weightlifting, boxing, swimming, art competitions, etc. Later pages include: a fold-out program of the events, marking the days and arenas of each; a printed map of the 'Reichssportsfeld', indexed and marking the location of each event; and various athletic diagrams, showing various athletic maneuvers in gymnastics, elevations in biking, an overhead map of the sailing course, and more.
