Good content A.L.S., 2pp. 8vo., Paris, Apr. 10, 1881 in French to Mr. Gilles of Paris Figaro. In part: "...I have one more favor to ask of you; it is to insert the enclosed notice in your Echoes. The book comes out Monday, and it would be fine if you would be able to give me the preface that very day, as you did for the first volume, Naturalism in the Theatre. The two follow one another...Harpentier is going to send you a copy I signed for you..." Very good, matted with a photo, set into a (chipped) wood frame. $300-400
