(1934 - 1968) Russian cosmonaut, the first man in space who died tragically in a routine training flight. S.P. 4" x 6" b/w, the classic head and shoulders portrait in uniform, boldly signed at bottom blank margin. Along with GEORGI BEREGOVOI, a small printed S.P. taken from a magazine, vertically signed at right and postal cover honoring the first visit of the Russian cosmonauts to the U.S., Houston, Oct. 21, 1969. Along with a small staple-bound volume entitled Yuri Gagarin (Novosti Agency Printing House, 1977), a "brief account of the eventful life of the brilliant Soviet spaceman...the world's first cosmonaut". Four pieces, very good condition.

Shipment is sent USPS priority, USPS International Express (for most overseas) or UPS Ground at the auctioneer's option, signature required, unless other arrangements are made.
