U.S. Army ‘Ike' jacket constructed of green wool, a size 38R. On the right sleeve is an embroidered U.S. Army Forces Western Pacific patch depicting a blue star on a white field with a lightning bolt running through the star, five stars surrounding the image and with a red border. Sewn to the right sleeve is a U.S. Army Air Force China-Burma-India Theater patch. Closer to the cuff on the same sleeve is a green patch bearing four overseas service bars, indicating two years of service overseas. Displayed at the right breast is an Honorable Service Lapel Patch or ‘Ruptured Duck' patch. A ribbon bar is affixed to the right breast, ribbons including: World War II Victory, Army Good Conduct, European-African-Middle Eastern Campaign, and the Asiatic-Pacific Campaign, on which a bronze service star has been added. Secured closed by five green plastic buttons and an additional snap button at the bottom. The interior right-side pocket bears an Inspector's tag with the presumed maker's name ‘J. Brown' and dated ‘April 18, 1945'. No flaws. A very fine jacket.
