Description:

WORLD WAR II GERMAN AND AMERICAN PROPAGANDA
An interesting group nine small pieces of propaganda measuring 5" x 8", likely thrown from planes and directed to German soldiers below. Seven of the nine are German sheets, some marked "Feldpost" with various content, including mentioning Warsaw. The American leaflets, printed in both German and English, are entitled "Safe Conduct" and were meant to be carried by a German soldier "...as a sign of his genuine wish to give himself up...". Many bear wear and wrinkling from obvious use, overall very good. Nine pieces, from the collection of John Lattimer.
