Balance of a collection, includes: BERNARD MOORCROFT (b. 1921) founding member of RAF 635 Squadron Pathfinder, completed 70 missions, A.D.S. 1p. 8vo., ca. 1971 setting forth his military biography; Flt. Sgt. PADDY BYRNE, 197 Typhoon Squadron, RAF, bombed St. Lo on D-Day, signed flown cover; BILL BUTTLE, navigator with 617 Squadron, RAF in bombing of Berchtesgaden, Apr. 25, 1945, signed commemorative cover; JEAN MACARTHUR, wife of Gen. Douglas MacArthur, cut signature; Piper BILL MILLIN, piper for Lord Lovat at the D-Day landings and Pegasus Bridge - the Germans would not shoot him because they were convinced he was insane, postcard print of a painting of Millin, signed on verso; and DAVID BIRKIN, British officer who worked for the Shelburne Line undertaking covert evacuations from the French shore. Very good.

Due to complications from the ongoing COVID-19 pandemic, we will ship with USPS Priority Mail only if the buyer submits their request to us in writing and accepts responsibility for delayed shipments. Signature is always required, unless other arrangements are made. Handling and shipping charges will be added to the invoice in one entry. Buyers should be aware that large, framed, fragile or odd shaped items can incur substantial shipping and packing charges. International shipments are invoiced by DIMENSIONAL weight, not the item weight.
