Description: Original World War I map, 1p. 11.5 in x 16 in. (opened), printed at 'Headquarters', 1918, showing a network of trenches and shelters on the front near St. Geosomes in France. Notable locations shown include a shelter labeled as ‘General Pershing's', an area labeled 'Chlorine Ravine', and the Bois d'Amour which is the location of many famous French landscape paintings. Slight tear at the middle crease repaired with tape on the verso, else fine.
