WORLD WAR I BRITISH HAVERSACKS (2)
Collection of two British haversacks from World War I. Includes: Khaki haversack, 10 x 9 in., with webbed straps to keep closed and shoulder strap. The interior of the flap is maker marked and dated ‘H.G. & B 1917', with the name of the owner ‘A. C. Gosling'. On the reverse are two areas of discoloration indicating a once previous attachment of webbed straps for suspension from a belt; WITH green haversack, 14 x 17 in., with webbed straps to keep closed. The top flap bears the owner's name ‘A. YOUNG'. The interior of the flap is maker marked and dated ‘M.E. CO. 1915' followed by the broad arrow mark. The broad arrow mark is also seen on the reverse at the center, between the two backstraps. Two pieces, overall very good.

Signature is always required, unless other arrangements are made. Handling and shipping charges will be added to the invoice in one entry. Buyers should be aware that large, framed, fragile or odd shaped items can incur substantial shipping and packing charges. International shipments are invoiced by DIMENSIONAL weight, not the item weight. Customers who supply their own courier account number will still be charged a handling fee.
