WORLD WAR I ANTI-GERMANY CARTOON BY ROLLIN KIRBY
A great piece of original cartoon artwork by ROLLIN KIRBY, measures 15" x 18" and executed in ink and pencil. Titled "Imperial Alibi Factory Export Dep't.", it shows a German general churning out "excuses" and "denials" while two other generals carry armfuls of fodder for the propaganda mill. Rollin Kirby (1875-1952) was a noted American illustrator for the New York Post awarded Pulitzer Prizes on three separate occasions for his political cartoons. Boldly signed at conclusion, light wear, very good condition.

Shipping

Shipment is sent USPS priority, USPS International Express (for most overseas) or UPS Ground at the auctioneer's option, signature required, unless other arrangements are made. Handling, shipping and insurance charges will be added to the invoice in one entry. Buyers should be aware that large, framed, fragile or odd shaped items can incur substantial shipping and packing charges. NOTE: large, heavy or bulky items are not shipped by the auctioneer.
