Good pair of World War I-era anti-German posters, each promoting war bonds, includes: Full-color poster, 20 x 30 in., titled "Hun or Home?", showing a civilian mother clutching her baby as a stereotypical German soldier crawls towards her in shadow with blood-stained fingers. The exhortation "BUY MORE LIBERTY BONDS" appears beneath the title. The bottom edge bears the publication line of Edwards and Deutsch Lithograph Company in Chicago. Slightly ragged bottom edge, notable tear on top edge, archivally repaired on the verso. Very good to fine condition. WITH: Full-color poster, 20 x 30 in., titled "Remember Belgium", showing a silhouette of a German soldier forcefully dragging a resisting girl in front of a flaming landscape. The exhortation "Buy Bonds, Fourth Liberty Loan" appears beneath the title. The bottom edge bears the designation "6-B" and the publication line of the United States Printing and Lithograph Company in New York. Small tears and wear at the edges, else very good to near fine.

Shipments are sent via USPS Priority, USPS International Priority, FedEx and DHL (for most overseas shipments) or FedEx Ground at the auctioneer's option, signature is always required, unless other arrangements are made. Handling and shipping charges will be added to the invoice in one entry. Buyers should be aware that large, framed, fragile or odd shaped items can incur substantial shipping and packing charges. International shipments are invoiced by DIMENSIONAL weight, not the item weight. Please contact us for an estimate before bidding NOTE: Large, heavy or bulky items may not be shipped by the auctioneer - arrangements for shipping of these items via a third-party shipper may be arranged through the auction house. Customers who supply their own courier account number will still be charged a handling fee.
