Description:

Woodstock "White Lake" Variant Poster
A mere 18 days before the three-day festival in August 1969 was to take place in the town of Wallkill, the promoters were given the boot by town officials. Posters were hurriedly produced to reflect the change to the festival's new location in White Lake, New York. This variation (the only known example to surface in the 40 years since the festival took place) utilizes Arnold Skolnick's basic design. The poster received only limited distributed in the New York City metro area. The 24" x 18" paper poster exhibits multiple corner pin holes, clipped corners, border stains and several creases.
