Keener, who was graduated from the University in 1897, has spent two years here in graduate study, and we have learned to know him very well indeed, and to esteem him most highly. He is one of the most earnest, balanced, thorough and capable men we have graduated...I do not know of any graduate of recent years who seems to have in finer combination the qualities which go to make up a successful teacher and trustworthy guide...".
