Churchill" on his personal letterhead, 1p., small 4to, Chartwell, August 12, 1957, a letter from his close friend and financial advisor Arthur Lewis Ball, Esq. Churchill wrote Ball regarding his former cavalry unit, the 4th Queen's Own Hussars, in part: "... I am so much obliged to you for your thought in writing me a letter of condolence on the disappearance of my Regiment as a separate unit. It is indeed sad, and ill-advised.
