WOODROW WILSON (1856 - 1924) Twenty-eighth President of the United States who passed sweeping reform laws, gave women the right to vote, and led the United States through World War I setting the ground work for the League of Nations. Fine association, partly-printed D.S. as President, 1p. folio, Washington, July 15, 1918, an ornate military appointment of William Crozier as Major General. Crozier (1855-1942), was an important American artillerist, served as Chief of Ordnance in World War I. Our document promotes him to the rank of Major General of the line, and he soon became Commander of the Northeastern Department in Boston. Countersigned by NEWTON T. BAKER as Secretary of War. Mounted, near fine condition. Handsomely framed in cream mat and gilt frame. Excellent for display, not examined out of frame.             $600 - 800
